Victorio Cruz’s farm, Jerusalén, is nestled in the municipality of Guajiquiro, about three hours from Marcala, where our direct trade partner Nancy Hernandez exports all of our Honduran microlots. The area is extremely remote and inaccessible by car, so much so that the processed coffee is actually transported on horseback. For 50 years and across three generations, Victorio’s family has been dedicated to producing high-quality coffee, preserving ancient varieties, and using organic practices to maintain their land. We are proud to showcase their coffee, and this year, we paid over double the market price for their specialty coffee, hoping they can continue thriving for the next 50 years.

This is our third year purchasing this anaerobic natural lot from Don Victorio, and we believe it’s the best harvest yet! This coffee boasts an extremely sweet and fruity profile, with notes of candied strawberry and green apple.
