Back in March 2020, we met producer Nancy Hernandez not on her farm but in the café-roastery she built in the town she calls home in La Paz. At the time, we were blown away not only by the delicious coffee, but by the place she had built to enjoy it. It became a cherished memory once the world shut down, one last coffee with a producer we admired before everything changed.

We’re so excited to be partnering with Nancy again, this year with a showcase of six delicious and different coffees. This classic washed lot has been carefully fermented, with the coffee cherries soaked for 48 hours under water to bring out more fruit character. They’re then pulped, washed and dried on raised beds slowly until the cherries reach 11% moisture.

Expect an extremely clean coffee with notes of milk chocolate, hazelnut, red apple and dried fruits, a great all-rounder for filter and espresso alike.

The Jazmin farm was built in 2008 by Nancy, whose dream was always to follow in the footsteps of her parents and grandparents by having her own farm. She spent years learning about processing and cultivation on her parents’ farm until her uncle offered her the opportunity to transform what was some disused land into a coffee farm. Just like that, Jazmin was born..
