The Guji region in southern Ethiopia is home to the village of Buku, where this coffee is produced and processed. Historically inhabited by the Oromo people, Guji boasts lush, untouched landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The Oromo have thrived here for centuries, transitioning from pastoralism to predominantly farming. Thanks to fertile land with dense forests, there is minimal need for fertilisation and inputs, which is why organic practices are default here. This region stands as a testament to sustainable agriculture and cultural preservation.

This lot is potentially our favourite coffee of 2024 so far: big, juicy and delicious, it boasts tons of tropical fruit, berries and stone fruit flavours. The perfect coffee to kickstart summer.
