This exceptional coffee, our first release from Felipe Arcila's Jardines del Encanto, showcases the unique EF2 processing method. This meticulous 74-hour process, which combines dry aerobic fermentation and controlled-temperature storage, enhances the coffee's complexity, sweetness, and acidity.

The Laurina cultivar, known for its low caffeine and exceptional cup quality, thrives in Jardines del Encanto's nutrient-rich soil and high altitude. Its low caffeine content results in remarkably low bitterness and high sweetness. However, growing Laurina is challenging due to its susceptibility to disease and insects, as caffeine acts as a natural deterrent. Felipe Arcila's expertise and dedication have overcome these hurdles, producing an exceptional coffee that exemplifies innovation and perseverance.

Felipe, a fourth-generation coffee grower, co-founded Cofinet with his brother Carlos. Inspired by Australia's coffee culture, they returned to Colombia with a passion for specialty coffee. Together, they acquired Jardines del Edén and del Encanto, focusing on exotic varieties like Laurina and Gesha.

Through innovation, sustainability, and a commitment to quality, Felipe and Carlos have elevated Colombian coffee, earning Cofinet recognition as a leading exporter of specialty coffee.
